White graphics cards were always tough to find and were considered exotic items that carried a price premium. That is if you even could find a white version of the card you were interested in. These days, the situation is much better, at least if you’re after an Nvidia graphics card. And if you disregard the whole chipocalypse that makes most of the RTX 3000 and RX 6000 models next to impossible to get near their MSRPs. If you still want to get a white GPU well, get ready for high prices and stock that vanishes faster than it takes for a Starfleet crew to get beamed on the surface. Today, we’re showing you the best white graphics cards, starting with the Nvidia RTX 3000 models.

Best White RTX 3090
ASUS RTX 3090 ROG Strix White OC
|Memory||24 GB GDDR6X|
|Base Clock||1395 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1860 MHz|
Now, this list includes both best performing and best looking white GPUs, and the ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3090 Gaming White OC is both. First of all, it runs at 1860MHz, which is 165Mhz higher than the default boost clock. Next, the card looks stunning. Asus really nailed it with the latest ROG Strix design used on graphics cards and we have to say, the white version is even better looking than the already slick regular version of the card.
The card has just enough RGB for us to not consider it overkill, and the phenomenal RGB implementation under the cooling fans just begs owners to use the card in vertical mode. Thermals are great for an RTX 3090 model, the card can reach up to about 2000MHz when overclocked, and it’s also pretty silent under load. Overall, a pretty solid result. When it comes to the other RTX 3090 white models, we like the over-the-top design of the Galax RTX 3090 HOF. The staggering difference between the plain white design of the card and the bonkers LCD on the side is a prime example of gamery design. It’s so bad it’s kind of cool.
Best White RTX 3080 Ti GPU
Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti Vision OC
|Memory||12 GB GDDR6X|
|Base Clock||1365 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1710 MHz|
Moving on to the recently released RTX 3080 Ti with the Gigabyte RTX 3080 Ti Vision OC being our pick. ASUS didn’t release the white version of the ROG Strix (yet) so this Gigabyte model gets the prize. First of all, the card looks pretty good, with a minimalistic fan shroud, clean looking side of the card, and an industrial design wet dream that is the backplate. We don’t like the front side much (it looks too clean) but considering you’ll be watching at the side and backplate (just look at it, it’s marvelous) most of the time, we don’t have issues with the design.
As for the performance, Gigabyte boosted the card a bit. It’s a small factory OC of just 45Mhz (1710 MHz compared to the reference 1665MHz) just so the company could put OC in front of the name. We don’t have any info regarding thermals but you should be fine since the RTX 3080 version of the card runs relatively cool. That said, watch the memory thermals since the 3080 Vision memory can run toasty when mining. The second card that has caught our attention is the RTX 3080 Ti version of the Galax Metal Master.
Best White RTX 3080
ASUS RTX 3080 ROG Strix White OC
|Memory||10 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||1440 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1905 MHz|
And again, we have the ASUS ROG Strix White OC as the winner. this time in the RTX 3080 flavor. The ROG Strix is one of the best RTX 3080 models. All that we said about the RTX 3090 version also works here. The design is phenomenal, the card has probably the best RGB implementation on the market (we’re talking exclusively about the ROG Strix White here), and it just begs to sit inside a case in a vertical placement.
As for the performance, you get a boost clock of 1905MHz, which is 195 MHz over the reference boost clock. This makes the card up to 10 percent faster than the RTX 3080 FE, depending on the game. The card’s cool and quiet under load but the extreme factory OC leaves it without a huge OC potential. You can go just over 2000MHz and that’s it. Now, the RTX 3080 has a ton of AIB cards but the ROG White is the best-looking white model. If you want something more subtle, check out the GALAX RTX 3080 Metal Master. This is another slick-looking white RTX 3080 but this time, with zero RGB.
Best White RTX 3070 Ti Card
Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Vision OC
|Memory||8 GB GDDR6X|
|Base Clock||1580 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1830 MHz|
|Outputs||2× DisplayPort 1.4a
2× HDMI 2.1
The RTX 3070 Ti is the newest card on this list and, at the moment, there just aren’t that many RTX 3070 Ti AIB models out there. Out of the ones we know about, the prettiest white model is the Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Vision OC. The card comes with a slight factory OC (1800MHz compared to 1770MHz) and it should stay relatively cool when under load. Just don’t forget that the RTX 3070 Ti comes with a faster and hotter GDDR6X memory.
The presence of GDDR6X could lead to thermal throttles if Gigabyte again decided to go with the bottom of barrel thermal pads. If we had to pick an alternative, we would go with the Galax RTX 3070 Ti EX White. This card looks awesome but the 2-fan cooling solution could be even worse for the GDDR6X thermals than the poor quality thermal pads found on the Vision OC.
Best White RTX 3070
Zotac RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White
|Memory||8 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||1500 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1755 MHz|
Now, we don’t like to include cards that come with a less than ideal cooling setup but the thing is, the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White looks too good. Its subtle white design is a joy to look at. There aren’t any unnecessary details on the card, and the fan shroud includes a couple of edges and angles that make it attractive without being aggressive-looking. Finally, the backplate is another triumph of industrial design.
As for the thermals, you should be fine unless you’re living in a hot climate. The card reaches about 70 degrees Celsius under load. Do note that only two fans could prove to not be enough if your ambient temperature is close or above 30 ℃. On the flip side, the card’s on the louder side, and it isn’t much of an overclocker. When it comes to the RTX 3070 alternatives there’s the stunning ROG Strix RTX 3070 Gaming White, the Gigabyte RTX 3070 Vision, and the GALAX RTX 3070 Metal Master.
Best White RTX 3060 Graphics Card
Zotac RTX 3060 AMP White
|Memory||12 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||1320 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1867 MHz|
You’ll notice we skipped the RTX 3060 Ti. The thing is, the 3060 Ti looks like a paper launch since you can’t find the damn card anywhere. This is likely due to Nvidia having great yields of the GA104 die, used both for the RTX 3070 and 3060 Ti, with the latter using dies that had too many inactive cores to be used for the RTX 3070. Anyway, let’s talk about the RTX 3060. The best white RTX 3060 is, again, the Zotac AMP White. But, unlike with the RTX 3070, the dual-fan cooling setup seen here is more than enough to cool the RTX 3060.
This is noticeable when you look at the boost clock, which is 90MHz higher than the reference. Further, the card reaches only 63 ℃ under load. This is seven degrees lower than the same cooling solution achieved on the RTX 3070, further providing that the 2-fan cooling system is more than enough for the RTX 3060. Finally, the RTX 3080 AMP White is also much quieter than the RTX 3070 AMP and if you decide to use it in an ITX case, you can expect much lower thermals compared to the RTX 3070 AMP.
If you want an alternative there’s the Gigabyte RTX 3060 Vision OC. This is a good-looking card but its 3-fan cooling setup is overkill for the RTX 3060. That said, if you find the Vision OC model at the same price, or cheaper than the RTX 3060 AMP White, it’s definitely a better choice. There’s also the Galax RTX 3060 Starlight MAX, but this one is way harder to find than the already hard-to-find Zotac and Gigabyte models.
Best White RX 6900 XT
Sapphire RX 6900 XT Nitro+ OC
|Memory||16 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||2050 MHz|
|Boost Clock||2285 MHz|
The white graphics card situation is much worse on the AMD side. You don’t have an all-white RX 6900 XT. The closest to a white design we got is the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6900 XT OC. This is a silver-and-black card with a silvery-white backplate and a side profile with lots of white details. Overall, not great but sadly, the closest you can get to a white RX 6900 XT at the moment.
We don’t have any firm thermal numbers but considering that Sapphire always delivers when it comes to the cooling and the overall design, we’re certain the card runs fine. The factory OC is a humble one, with 35MHz added to the AMD reference boost clock. Overall, the card looks great but whether it can be considered a white model or not is debatable.
Best White RX 6800 XT GPU
Yeston RX 6800 XT Sakura
|Base Clock||1825 MHz|
|Boost Clock||2250 MHz|
While ASRock did show their RX 6800 XT Sub Zero graphics card, we still don’t have a proper white RX 6800 XT. So, in the lack of a better choice, we’ve picked the Yeston Radeon RX 6800 XT Sakura. Yes, this is a waifu GPU and yes, it looks like it’s scented with a perfume that can last for up to a couple of years. But looking at the review of its RX 6700 XT cousin, the card should offer pretty solid thermal performance along with not too bad noise performance. And hey, it comes with an all-white PCB, which is quite rare even for the white GPUs.
Best White RX 6800
Sapphire RX 6800 Nitro+
|Memory||16 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||1850 MHz|
|Boost Clock||2190 MHz|
When it comes to the white models, the situation with RX 6800 cards is even worse than with other AMD cards. Your best bet is getting the Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800. Unlike the RX 6900 XT version, this card’s grey details are dark, ash-like grey instead of the almost-white grey used on the RX 6900 XT.
As for the specs, the card comes with an 85MHz factory OC, which ups the boost clock to 2190MHz. The card can be further overclocked to about 2390MHz, which is a great result. The thermals are okay but not great. The thing is, this card’s coolers are spinning just at about 1,000RPM at maximum loads. This results in whisper-quiet noise levels. But it also means that, with a custom fan curve, you should get noticeably lower thermals without sacrificing the card’s quiet performance.
Best White RX 6700 XT
PowerColor RX 6700 XT Hellhound Spectral White
|Memory||12 GB GDDR6|
|Base Clock||2321 MHz|
|Boost Clock||2581 MHz|
If you want a proper white AMD GPU, you’ll have to settle with the RX 6700 XT. Or get that scented, waifu card. But hey, we’re fine with whatever tickles your fancy. Anyway, the PowerColor Hellhound RX 6700 XT Spectral White is one of the best white graphics cards we’ve ever seen. If you don’t like RGB, this is the best white GPU on the market right now. The minimalist design works wonderfully when combined with an all-white color choice and see-through cooling fans. And the cherry on the top is the all-white PCB. Overall, stunning design.
The card comes with an official boost clock of 2581MHz, which can reach 2725MHz when overclocked. Not bad. The area where this calls excels is thermal performance. With the GPU edge temperature of just 56 degrees Celsius and the hotspot temperature of only 71 ℃, this is the coolest RX 6700 XT on the market. Noise levels are equally impressive, especially if we look at the amazing thermal performance. Overall, the Hellhound RX 6700 XT Spectral White is probably the best RX 6700 XT on the market right now.
Best AMD White GPU of the Rest: AMD RX 5700 XT
Yeston RX 5700 XT Game Master
|Base Clock||1605 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1905 MHz|
If you’re looking for a white AMD card the situation is pretty dire. Aside from the amazing Hellhound RX 6700 XT Spectral White, the choice is extremely limited. And it’s even worse if you’re looking for an older AMD card with a white design. There’s the Yeston RX 5700 XT Game Master, which combines pink and white to create a genuinely nice-looking card. If you’re into flowers, this card rocks. And the backplate isn’t covered in an anime waifu, which is another plus. That said, the card’s pretty much impossible to find so good luck trying to get one of these.
Best White Graphics Card of the Rest: NVidia GTX 1060
ASUS GTX 1060 OC White
|Memory||6 GB GDDR5|
|Base Clock||1594 MHz|
|Boost Clock||1809 MHz|
Since older NVidia cards were just as popular as the latest models, it’s relatively easy to find an older GTX card with an all-white design. And the GTX 1060 is probably the sanest choice for those looking for a used GPU in these trying times, our pick is the ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 OC White. This is a card that performs in line with the other GTX 1060 6GB models. The only negative is less than ideal thermal performance and those pesky black cooling fans. If they were white, this card would be a whole package. If you game in 1440p resolution, the GTX 1060 won’t cut it. If that’s the case, we recommend getting the Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro White, if you can find one of course.
