Containers are the equivalent of loot boxes or treasure chests in World of Warships. They look like shipping containers and contain all sorts of awesome goodies. You can start getting containers from Access Level 8 onwards.
Super Containers are an ultra-rare variant of Container. As you probably guessed, Super Containers hold “super” rewards worth much more than the stuff you’d find in your regular Container. Opening Containers is also one of the more reliable methods to get Oil in World of Warships.
In this guide, we’ll describe how to get Super Containers in World of Warships. There are two methods, and we’ll go over all of them down below. Note that neither method is entirely predictable, and the odds of getting a Super Container are very low. Elevate your gaming experience with exclusive rewards! Methods for getting Super Containers
There are several ways to obtain Super Containers in World of Warships. Some are more reliable than others, but they’re all worth exploring whenever you get the chance.
Just a disclaimer: Super Containers are extremely rare, regardless of method; don’t get too hung up on trying to get them. Some captains have played for years and never received a Super Container.
Get them from your Daily Containers
The most common method to get Super Containers is through claiming Daily Containers. You are guaranteed a Super Container at least once in every 100 Daily Containers you open. You can earn up to three Daily Containers in a day, so the more you play, the quicker you’ll get your Super Container.
So, what are the actual percentage odds of getting a Super Container from a Daily Container? Well, it’s not entirely random. When you first created your account, the game assigned you a randomly generated Super Container drop number between zero and 100. Your account also has a special progress counter that starts from zero and counts up to 100.
Each time you open a Daily Container, your progress counter goes up by one. The container that takes your progress counter over the Super Drop number will transform into a Super Container.
You can speed up your progress counter by selecting the “Try Your Luck” option when opening a Daily Container. This increases your progress counter by three instead of one. However, if the progress counter does not exceed your Super Container drop number after you Try Your Luck, then you’ll get a Small Container instead of the standard Daily Container. Small Containers contain fewer and less-valuable rewards compared to your standard Container.
Once you’ve received your Super Container, your progress counter resets, and the game assigns you another randomly generated Super Container drop number.
Here’s a quick example. Let’s assume we have a World of Warships account that just reached level 8.
Daily Container # | Progress Counter | Super Daily Container drop number | Type of Container Dropped |
---|---|---|---|
0 | 0 | Game randomly assigned number from 0–100. Let’s say it gave us 6. | – |
1 | 1 | 6 | Standard Daily Container |
2 | Used Try Your Luck (adds 3 to current counter; counter is now at 4). Used Try Your Luck and Progress Counter is lower than Super Container drop number. Daily Container becomes Small Container. | 6 | Small Container |
3 | 5 | 6 | Standard Daily Container |
4 | 6 | 6 | Standard Daily Container |
5 | 7 Progress counter exceeds Super Container drop number. Daily Container becomes Super Container. Game resets progress counter to zero. | Super Container dropped. Game randomly assigns new number from 0–100. Let’s say we got 3. | Super Container |
6 | 1 | 3 | Standard Daily Container |
7 | Used Try Your Luck (adds 3 to current counter; counter is now at 4). Progress counter exceeds Super Container drop number. Daily Container becomes Super Container. Game resets progress counter to zero. | Super Container dropped. Game randomly assigns new number from 0–100. | Super Container |
Now, you’re probably not going to have the same luck as the account in our example above (two Super Containers from nine Daily Containers!), but hopefully, you get the gist of how the system works.
Get them from special WoWs events
Occasionally, Wargaming holds special World of Warships events that grant Super Containers as a prize. One example is the New Year’s Super Container, which you can earn by participating in the end-of-the-year event.
What’s in a Super Container?
As mentioned above, Super Containers grant super-valuable rewards. You get one of the following items when you open a Super Container:

Note that you’re also guaranteed a ship if you’ve opened 166 Super Containers without getting one.
And that’s that for our guide on how to get Super Containers in World of Warships. There are incredible rewards to be gained by opening Super Containers, but they’re so rare that it’s really not worth getting worked up over them. All you can do is log in every day to get your Daily Container and pray that RNG is in your favor. Good luck! (You’re going to need it!)
