Gamers and gaming companies have donated nearly $200M to Ukraine’s humanitarian relief so far

Since the invasion of Ukraine began, several gaming companies have been forced to re-evaluate their position in Russia. With each passing day, Russia faces increasing international isolation, and as a result, these firms are increasingly feeling the pressure to distance themselves from the Kremlin.

The Russian gaming market was expected to reach $3.6 billion in 2025; however, with current trends, that figure will be likely significantly smaller. Amidst the war, the Ukrainian government plead for gaming companies to pull out and cease any business in Russia. In response, Russia has threatened to legalize the piracy of software and other economic retaliation against companies.

In spite of these pressures, many gaming companies, developers, streamers, and gamers have come to the aid of Ukraine, something that we think deserves recognition. We’ve created a definitive list of all donations sent to various Ukrainian charitable causes. To date, a total of $196,476,600 has been donated or pledged across these companies and their fundraising efforts. As the figures change we will continuously update this list.

You can do your part to help the people of Ukraine by donating to a charity of your choice.
