This item is among those with the highest Light Level out of all the light sources so it’s smart to include it in your world. It’s also very simple to build since all you need is a pumpkin and a single torch.

This might seem like a crazy outlandish idea but you can actually use it as a light source directly. While there is a severe risk of the fire spreading over everything you own, if you build a good fireplace, the chaos can be contained to just your living room or you can even build some firepits around your property.
