Ask any new or up-and-coming player what their biggest problem is and you’ll probably hear “aim”. Playing against real humans in Battle Royale is usually the best medicine for it, but if you’re constantly failing to get shots on target, you’ll spend a lot of time dying in a baptism by fire. A lot of players are thus waiting, impatiently, for a way they can boost their gameplay performance and practice getting their shots on target.
Well, a few sympathetic players have certainly noticed. Using Fortnite’s brilliant Creative mode, players have gone out their way to create a number of Aim Practice courses. These maps have various elements which each cater to a different element of armed combat or combat situation.
They’re an invaluable method for training your aim. It’ll save you a lot of time, too. Most players take months to get from beginner to even intermediate level, largely because they’ll mostly spend their time getting their butts kicked before they even have a chance to see positive reinforcement. They also get more challenging as you proceed through the list, so it’s worth giving some a try – even if you’re not totally awful but are looking to step your game up a little.

How To Enter Aim Practice Course Codes
If you’re not familiar with loading Fortnite creative maps or islands, it’s fairly easy. The mode was launched during Fortnite’s Seventh Season, and allows players to build some pretty amazing stuff with in-game assets.
Open Fortnite and head into the Fortnite Creative mode – you can choose it from the game selection screen. When you’re in, just walk up to one of the ‘featured rifts’ in front of you and tap the hotkey to ‘Set Island Code’. Here, you’ll be asked to enter the 12-digit code from the list above, which will load up the custom map you’d like to play!
If you’re having trouble redeeming a certain code, remember to double check the code. Although these codes consist of only numbers and are not in themselves case sensitive, it can be easy to make a mistake jotting it down. Once you have entered it currently, simply walk up to the rift and enter it!
How To Get Better With Aim Practice Courses
These maps range from incredibly basic to outrageously complex, so there will be something for everyone on this list.
If used correctly, they can serve a straight set of steps to owning everybody in Battle Royale. You can start off on the simpler courses – glorified firing ranges, really – which feature static targets, a variety of weapons and a number of simulation scenarios. However, even if you’re a little bit past the phase where you can aim reasonably well at inanimate objects, you can use these static circumstances intelligently to begin to train yourself. Firing different weapons, hitting targets while jumping and staying on target even as you’re strafing from side to side.
After that, you can jump into the more complicated courses. Some courses allow you to fight against moving targets, genuinely using Fortnite’s map creation tools to make the process of hitting moving targets about as hard as it could possibly be. This is a great way to build the muscle memory necessary to upping your aim in Battle Royale quickly, painlessly and totally for free.
