What does Foxy do in Coin Master?

Foxy is Coin Master's raid pet — she digs a fourth hole during raids for extra coins. Here's how Foxy works, how to unlock her, and when to use her.

Foxy is the first pet you unlock in Coin Master and the one most players use most often. Her ability is straightforward: when you raid another player’s village, Foxy digs a fourth hole, giving you an extra chance at coins on top of the standard three holes you’d normally pick from (Source: Moon Active support).

What Foxy does

In a normal raid you choose three spots to dig from a grid of possible holes. Foxy adds a fourth dig automatically. That extra hole either hits a coin stash — boosting your total raid haul — or comes up empty. The value scales with the level of the village you’re raiding and Foxy’s own level.

The practical benefit is straightforward: more digs per raid means more coins on average. Foxy’s effect is most valuable when raiding high-coin villages and when multiplier events are active, because the percentage increase from that extra hole is applied on top of larger base amounts.

Foxy only activates during raids. She does nothing during attacks, and she doesn’t affect village defence. For attacks use Tiger, for defence use Rhino.

How to unlock Foxy

Foxy unlocks automatically when you reach Village 4 — no card collection required. She’s the only pet that doesn’t need a card set to unlock. Once you hit Village 4, Foxy is yours and an in-game animation walks you through feeding and levelling pets for the first time (Source: Moon Active support).

How to level up Foxy

Feed Foxy with pet food to accumulate XP and raise her level. Higher levels increase the coin value Foxy’s extra hole contributes per raid. You can also use Pet XP items to accelerate levelling — these drop from chests, card set completions, and events.

Pet outfits provide a further boost on top of Foxy’s base level. Foxy outfits increase her raid bonus and come from events, milestone reward chests, and the Golden Pass. Duplicate outfits can be fused into a stronger single outfit.

When to use Foxy

  • Before any raid session
  • When Raid Madness is active — Foxy’s extra hole bonus stacks with the event multiplier
  • When Coin Craze is active — Foxy’s additional coins scale with the Coin Craze multiplier, making the combination one of the most efficient coin-farming setups in the game (Source: Moon Active support)
  • When you need to accumulate coins quickly before a major village build

If you’re doing attacks rather than raids, switch to Tiger. There’s no point having Foxy active for an attack-heavy spin session.

At Village 200+ with Pet Crew unlocked, you can feed all three pets simultaneously and run Foxy alongside Tiger and Rhino at the same time.

Foxy vs Tiger

Both Foxy and Tiger increase coin earnings, but from different actions:

PetTriggers onBest event pairing
FoxyRaidsRaid Madness, Coin Craze
TigerAttacksAttack Madness, Ultra Attack

Foxy is the more universally useful of the two for coin farming because raids tend to yield more coins per spin outcome than attacks at most stages of the game. Most players default to Foxy during general play and switch to Tiger only during attack-focused events. For a full comparison see the Coin Master pets guide.
